How it all started for Kyle?

Kyle GurtnerAs Kyle grew up he always loved photography, while one day spending time with his uncle (who is now one of his biggest mentors) he saw a package his uncle had designed for his business. Kyle instantly wanted to do the same thing. He started taking design classes his first year of high school. Little did he know he had a great grasp for this Graphic Design industry.

Kyle perused his passion for Graphic Design through out all of high school having the same teacher every year. Most would think that made it easier for Kyle. You couldn’t be more wrong. This teacher pushed Kyle to his limits and even to find more. If he turned in rushed work and crappy work, she called him out on it. This being a lesson for Kyle, strive to be the best at what you do. Don’t ever give someone something, you’re unsatisfied with yourself.

Kyle then wanted to make a career out of being a Graphic / Web Designer so he pushed his education even farther in attending the Art Institute of Phoenix. Here he gained so much knowledge, more then he thought he could ever store in his brain, “Sometimes things just come natural and you don’t have to think about how to do something” – says Kyle. “ There are times people ask me for help and I have to physically do it myself on my computer before I can assist them or verbally help them”.

Where does Kyle want to go?

Kyle’s overall goals for getting out of college are to land a designer job for a local company that needs more print designs created. From there he wants to watch and work close with the lead Art Director at that said position. This being because Kyle’s overall goal is to be a Lead Creative Director at either a big corporation or even his own design firm.
